About Me
I am a Paris-based political consultant working on issues including: fair vs. free trade, scaling the solidarity economy, transnational labor organizing, and connecting progressive political movements across borders. My recent working partners have included the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, GUE/NGL European Parliament Group, and Party of the European Left. My political analysis has been published in newspapers and magazines including The Nation, Jacobin, and In These Times.
I also serve as co-chair of the International Committee of the Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the US with more than 55,000 members; and as board chair of The Working World, a non-extractive loan fund that supports workplace ownership throughout the Americas.
From 2012 through 2018, I worked for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung’s New York office, including as chief staff person responsible for North America and the United Nations. During this time, I organized and led multi-day international conferences, multi-year research projects, high-level delegations to the UN and US Congress, and grassroots political education workshops.
I was previously based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where since 2008 I worked as project officer for The Working World’s La BaseĀ loan fund. During my time there, I completed a master’s degree in International Relations at the Latin American Institute of Social Sciences (FLACSO). My master’s thesis on the diplomatic relationship between Bolivia and the US was approved with distinction and published in 2018.
