Teaches a course called “Understanding the World” in a post-graduate degree program hosted by France’s most prestigious think tank for international politics.
Project Director, A Season in Hell, June 2019 – present
Oversees all aspects of A Season in Hell: Burning issues in French politics, a political analysis series of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Brussels office. This series was coupled with a major internal report to RLS to provide an overview of the French political landscape in the current conjuncture, delivered in December 2019.
Co-Editor, Beyond NAFTA 2.0: Toward a Progressive Trade Agenda for People and Planet, July 2019
Co-editor of a major publication providing a constructive, progressive critique of NAFTA. This report was a collective initiative of the Institute for Policy Studies, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, and has been coupled with a series of civil society gatherings to build related campaigns for trade justice.
Co-Author, Toward a Progressive Trade Politics in the EU, May 2019
Co-author of a major report commissioned by the GUE/NGL EU Parliamentary group to provide an overview of existing trade justice movements and a political roadmap for the 2019-2024 EU Parliamentary mandate.
Political Consultant, Re-thinking Cross-Border Organizing, February 2019 – present
Provides political counsel and organizing support to a multi-tiered program designed to develop the labor organizing work of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung at an international level. This program has included multiple events, interstitial network building support, and the development of an educational webinar in which approximately 2500 labor organizers from 40 countries participated.
European Delegation Organizer, US Congressional Progressive Caucus Strategy Summit, March 2018
Lead responsible for proposing, negotiating the participation of, and then bringing to the March 2018 US Congressional Progressive Caucus Strategy Summit a multi-faceted delegation including Members of Parliament from UK Labour, Syriza, Podemos and Die Linke, to share ideas with dozens of Members of US Congress.
Project Manager, UNRISD Just Transition Research Collaborative, January – December 2018
Co-team leader of a multi-tiered research project led by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, including multiple workshops, the creation and moderation of an online forum, and the preparation of the major report Mapping Just Transition(s) to a Low-Carbon World, which was formally launched at the UN Climate Change Conference: COP 24 in December 2018.
Project Leader, Strategies Against the Far Right, June 2017 – July 2018
Lead organizer for a major weekend retreat of sixty political actors from across North America and Europe to develop strategies against the far right; and as one result co-editing the book The Far Right in Government: Six Case Studies from Europe, published in July 2018.
